Is half-hiding in the water the new trend for album covers? Because thanks to my eclectic Spotify tastes, I found two examples this week:

Katy Perry's single came first, so I'd like to think that Thundercat is paying homage to her, but probably not. Maybe it's an Apocalypse Now thing?

Anyway, please tell me if you find more of these, because I love this artistic choice of half-drowning for dramatic effect.

Also, the Thundercat single is waaaaay better than the Katy Perry one. Sorry, Katy. Guess you gotta get Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins on your side.
